My Approach
My approach to therapy is somatic, trauma-informed, and neurodivergence-affirming. This means we focus not only on thoughts and emotions, but also on body sensations, nervous system responses, and patterns of regulation and overwhelm.
Trauma, grief, chronic stress, and sensory overload often live in the body—not just in memory or language. In our work together, we slow down and begin to understand how your nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection. From there, we build practical tools that help your body feel more regulated and resilient.
I integrate several evidence-based therapies, including:
Somatic Therapy – to increase body awareness and nervous system regulation
EMDR Therapy – to process trauma and distressing memories
TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – to support trauma recovery
Brainspotting – to access and process deeply stored emotional experiences
Together, we will:
Learn to recognize your nervous system patterns
Build tools for emotional regulation and grounding
Process trauma and unresolved grief
Reduce sensory overwhelm and burnout
Strengthen your connection to your body
Develop sustainable coping strategies that fit your life
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode. My role is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you can move at your own pace while developing the skills needed to feel more balanced, empowered, and connected to yourself.
