My Approach

Owning who you are, with your messiness and greatness, and choosing to walk your own path is an act of courage. This can be hard to do when you feel lost or do not know which next steps to take. Healing is a tough process and it’s important to remember that, as Victor Kiam noted, even when you fall on your face, you are still moving forward. I know because I too am a messy human who has taken this path. As a body psychotherapist, I guide clients in becoming more aware of how their whole system- mind and body- is impacted by what they go through and how to effectively help their entire being grow and heal in order to create desired change.

I use a body-based, compassionate, and integrative approach to help pre-teens, teens, and adults learn various skills, such as mindfulness, self-awareness, distress tolerance, resource building, and managing thought patterns, to empower them to create the life they want. I use effective, trauma-informed, and evidenced-based interventions, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and CBT. My practice builds off of my experiences working with all ages in offices, homes, schools, jails, and hospices.

I strive to create an authentic relationship with clients since what is most important and what we all tend to want is to be understood. I will do my best to let you know- I see you; I hear you; I’m with you.

Growth and healing are possible.
